I studied history and philosophy of science at the Department of History of Science at Tsinghua University in Beijing (2016-2019) and was awarded a master degree on philosophy. I am currently working as a Phd researcher at the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences at Ghent University. My project is "The Conception of the Living Organisation: Kant, Schelling and Their Relevances for Darwin".
My research focuses on German idealism and its relevance for life sciences and philosophy of biology, especially the positions of Kant and Schelling. More generally, I am concerned with the problematics of so-called inscrutability of the inner possibility of the living organization, its pros and cons, the proposed avenues and the prices paid. My research interest also includes relevant discussions from modern philosophy of biology.
