Biography

• 2001-2005: Master in Germanic Languages and Literature, Dutch-German, VUB;
• 2003-2004: Erasmus exchange student at Heinrich-Heine Universität, Düsseldorf;
• 2007: Teacher certificate, VUB;
• 2005 - 2011:Teaching and research assistant, linguistics department, Ghent University;
• 2011: PhD in Linguistics;
• 2011- 2013: Post-doctoral assistant, linguistics department, Ghent University.
• 2013 - 2019: Post-doctoral Fellow of the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO)
• 2019 - present: Coordinator of Foreign Language Education and Dutch as a Second Language at Ghent University Language Centre
